A woman threatening to commit suicide by jumping from the balcony of a 9th-floor apartment was saved following a dramatic rescue operation by firefighters in Shanghai, China on Sunday. Video footage of the incident shows the woman, apparently dejected with her love life, standing outside the balcony with her husband clinging on to her torso. With the room locked from the inside, a firefighter had to crawl down from the 11th floor and lunge to save her. Here are screenshots gotten from the video.
