The richest man in the world was welcomed to Everton's Finch Farm training base on Monday. Bill Gates visited the blue half of Merseyside to help promote Sport Relief. The co-founder of Microsoft, the world's largest PC software company, is worth an estimated $79billion (£55.4billion) and spent time at the Blues' training base with Chancellor George Osborne.
Promoting the BBC charity event, Gates, from the U.S., spoke with Everton boss Roberto Martinez and also met captain Phil Jagielka, compatriot Tim Howard and forward Arouna Kone. The 60-year-old also met children who are representing Everton in the Community in the Premier League's Enterprise Challenge.
