A brave and experienced diver can look like a daredevil to us land people. Diver Michael Dornellas, 32, just put his hands into the mouth of a hypnotized shark to remove a fishing hook in Jupiter, Florida, U.S. Michael used a hypnosis technique called tonic immobility, which allowed the shark to enter a natural state of paralysis for the small surgery.
Describing his experience with sharks, Dornellas said: “It is never 100% safe, nothing guarantees your safety when you’re swimming with predators."
