Chinese musician who has been suffering from focal dystonia for the past 20 years and thus couldn't use his right hand to play guitar went through a deep brain stimulation surgery on Jan 25 in southern China's Shenzhen. The musician had his guitar with him on the operating table, and was questioned all the time by the surgeons and nurses how he felt during the surgery.
To answer the doctors' question, he tried to play the guitar with different hand moves and said he was feeling better and better. This is the first time this kind of surgery was conducted in China and the 7th case globally.
