This dog was lucky to survive after it got stuck in the middle of an icy lake in Hefei city in China on Monday. Despite its struggles to free itself from the ice, the dog kept failing and sank even more. Its anxious owner tried to save it, but was not strong enough to break the ice.
Fortunately, a reporter nearby used his tripod to break the ice. Cracking a 30-meter-long path on the icy surface, the man named Xiang eventually rescued the dog.
