Ebola-German-5-Million-people-NGTrends
The current Ebola outbreak has claimed 5,459 lives.
The World Health Organization (WHO) said this on Friday, November 21. The outbreak of this deadly virus was first experienced in West-Africa.
The new statistics released by The World Health Organisation show that 39 new deaths and 106 new cases of the disease were recorded between Wednesday, November 19 and Friday, November 21.  According to the WHO Transmission remains intense in Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone,”
The situation in Mali has also become cause for concern after a failure to diagnose an infected Imam resulted in the deaths of a nurse and a doctor with many more people being exposed to the disease.
Some West-African countries including Nigeria have however been declared Ebola-free.
This menace has found it way outside Africa into some parts of Europe and America.
