Shocking photos has emerged of a squalid home that has a tree poking through the wall yet is rented for a whooping £40,000 a year.
The property located on a quiet residential street in south London was illegally converted into flats which had only one bathroom with a single bath and filthy toilet for occupants to share. The landlord also used the tree branches inside the house to rout electricity for its eight tenants.
