A bizarre story has broken in the local Ivorian press surrounding AS Roma winger Gervinho.
According to reports, Gervinho had a spot of bother after playing for the Ivory Coast against Cameroon last week in he final African Cup of Nations qualifier.
AS Roma had provided Gervinho with a private jet to return back to Italy on after the game, but when the footballer turned up for his flight he had some extra baggage: an unauthorised blonde girl.
IMatin report that Gervinho bribed four Ivorian airport workers to turn a blind eye to the fact that his female companion wasn’t suppose to be on the flight.
Gervinho then reportedly went to speak to the pilot to get his agreement on his extra passenger, however the pilot flatly refused and the lady was left behind.
The four workers have been fired from their posts.
