baby, weighing almost 7kg. Despite his big size, he
surprised everyone by coming out smoothly in a
normal delivery which took just 15 minutes. .
Mrs Khatun weighs 77.5 kg and had given birth to all
8 of her children at home. But her husband, Kadir
Raza, 40, was forced to rush her to the nearest
hospital after she entered labour. All her previous
babies weighed a normal 3.6kg.
Dr Anjana Gupta, who delivered the child, said: “He is
a miracle baby. In my 21 years of experience, I had
never seen a new-born as big as him. We could not
believe how, despite his big size, he smoothly came
out.”
