Tyson Fury was so confident he would beat Wladimir Klitschko in their heavyweight showdown that he bet £200,000 on himself to win.
The new heavyweight champ of the world was convinced he had what it took to see off heavy favourite Klitschko in their superbout in Dusseldorf on Saturday.
On the night Fury put in a superb performance to pull off a shock win over the fancied Ukrainian.
Klitschko looked all his 39 years as the judges awarded the fight to Fury 115-112, twice, and 116-111.
As well as his joy at taking the title, Fury’s bank balance will also look healthier this morning as he reaps the winnings from his mammoth bet.
