Nicki Minaj slammed with $236,000 lawsuit for showing up late and making Vegas club lose money

It has been quite a rocky year for rap queen Nicki Minaj.

First she got into a messy feud with Taylor Swift after the nominees for the 2015 MTV VMAs were announced, and it degenerated into another fight with Miley Cyrus. Yesterday, her fans took to social media to slam media network MTV after rumours made the rounds that they have banned Nicki Minaj from appearing on all award shows. And now, TMZ has just confirmed that the ‘Anaconda’ rapper has been slammed with a lawsuit by a Vegas club.

Reports claim that Nicki Minaj was billed to perform two songs for an hour at a Chateau Nightclub on the night of Mayweather vs. Pacquiao fight at 12am, but she arrived late for the event at 1:19pm and stayed for just 34 minutes. And this allegedly pissed off people who came to watch her, the club was unable to sell some VIP tables and lost out of the deal. Now they have taken her booking company Pink Personality, LLC, to court and are demanding a refund of the $236,000 they allegedly paid her before the event.

Meanwhile, MTV has refused to confirm or deny the rumour about banning the rapper from their events.
