Reports we are monitoring on TV indicate that at least 26 people have been killed in multiple bombs attacks in and around Paris this evening.
The French police said a gunman opened fired at a Cambodian restaurant which lead to the death of 11 people.
In a separate attack, another 15 people were reported dead after about 100 0thers were taken hostage at a Bataclan concert hall.
Also at the Stade de France stadium where a friendly France-Germany friendly football match was taking place, another two explosions went off and the President of France Francois Hollande was at the venue but quickly rushed to safety to deal with the ongoing situation.
It is thought that the explosions and gun attacks are part of a coordinated attack, all the security officials in France are on high alert and evacuating citizens from suspect areas for their own safety.
The US President Barack Obama gave a press briefing on the situation not long ago, condemning the attacks and promising to give France all the support needed to bring the perpetrators to justice. The British Prime Minister also sent his support via a tweet.
As of now, a state of Emergency declared in France, the borders are all closed as the assailants are still killing people at the concert hall.
More reports are indicating that security forces are assaulting the concert hall and a state of emergency has been declared in France, the first one since 1944.
