A woman has been kicked out of a pageant competition after she revealed a most interesting fact about herself which the organizers considered very offensive.

A transgender woman is counting her loss as she was shown the back door at a beauty pageant after she told organisers she was born male.

The woman named Jossy Yendall, 28, was bitterly angry as she thought revealing such information should not have affected her chances at the competition. She said that she had told organisers she was transgender when she applied for the Miss Galaxy 2016 pageant back in October, and even mentioned it in the first line of her online application, reports Metro.

After she was selected to take part in the grand final, Ms Yendall, from Gateshead, was told by organisers at the last minute that she was not eligible because she was born male. Yendall was completely devastated by the news.

Just before I went to pay my deposit to definitely, definitely secure my place, I said something along the lines of, 'It’s great that you let a transgender female into the pageant, it’s going to open doors for people, it’s really going to make your organisation look good. Ms. Yendall said.

‘I got an email back saying I was no longer eligible because on their rules it states that you have to be born female to be in this pageant.' She added.

Ms Yendall called the decision 'discrimination'.  ‘I didn’t transition just to be transgender – I transitioned to be a woman,’ she said.

Yendall first noticed she was supposed to be female when she was three years and began her gender transition more than a decade ago. She maintained that her desire is to be a woman and should not be discriminated against.
