Oscar Pistorius Cries Himself To Sleep On His First Night In Jail

South African paralympic athlete, Oscar Pistorius, who was sentenced to 5 years of imprisonment two days ago reportedly cried himself to sleep on his first night in jail, according to prison sources.

Pistorius was found guilty of culpable homicide and sentenced by Judge Thokozile Masipa for killing his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp in the early hours of Valentine’s Day 2013.

A prison source said Pistorius was heard sobbing loudly after he was left alone in his cell in Pretoria’s notorious Kgosi Mampuru II prison.

He was said to have cried for a while after which he fell asleep.
