This is so heart breaking when on Christmas Day 2015, the President of Turkey, Recep Tayip Erdogan stopped his entourage while passing through the 211ft Bosphorus bridge which links Europe with Asia after Friday prayers when he spotted a man attempting to jump off the bridge.

The police reportedly tried to stop the suicidal man who seem to be in his late 30s for 2 hours before the president arrived. See the photos below;
