According to recent court records, Bronx-native Liana Barrientos was married to eight men at one time, and was arrested for falsifying records from her 2010 wedding. The New York woman claimed she had never been married before, when she had actually been hitched nine times prior. She was charged with two felony counts of offering a false instrument for giving fake names on official documents.
Barrientos has gotten married ten times since 1999, five of which occurred in 2002. It’s unclear what the motive is behind her wedding craze, but it’s suspected that she wasn’t marrying for love.
In addition to her multitude of husbands, Barrientos had two baby daddies, one of which she was living with until her arrest. According to the NY Post, her baby daddy kicked her out of the apartment they were living in when he heard the news.
