An 18-year-old teen has been sentenced for attempting to have sex in an ambulance and attacking paramedics who confronted him when they wanted to use the ambulance to convey a sick old woman.
Now Kyle Hargreaves, from Grimsby in England, who was sentenced last week will spend close to three years in jail for his deeds on Sunday, February 15, 2015.
Hargreaves who was charged with assault and violation of an anti- social behaviour order also admitted robbing a store of a crate of beer on the same day.
According to Huffington Post, the incident began when paramedics responded to the home of a 92-year-old man suffering from chest pains. The crew members left open the back doors of the ambulance when they went to retrieve him.
The paramedics returned to the ambulance only to catch Hargreaves and a lady having sex on a stretcher.
The confrontation of the paramedics, aggrieved Hargreaves who in return screamed, “What’s your problem? We are just trying to have sex.”
Thereafter, irked Hargreaves threw three punches to the face of one of the officials, Michael Newman before spitting blood and saliva on the victim.
Court documents reveal that Hargreaves’ sex partner also reportedly bit the hand of technician William Heron.
The ambulance crew, who were outside with the patient alerted the police who arrived the scene and arrested Hargreaves before another crew also arrived and took the sick man to the hospital.
The identity of Hargreaves’ partner in crime was not immediately ascertained and it is yet unclear if she was charged.
