Bayern Munich striker, Robert Lewandowski has left football lovers gasping for breath with his latest goal-scoring feat that has earned him four Guinness World Record Titles.

For his recent goal scoring exploits, Guinness books of record has decided to honour the Polish striker with four certificates which was presented at the Bayern Munich training ground.
 
Robert Lewandowski came on as a half substitute in a Bayern Munich vs Wolfsburg game. At half time, Bayern was losing 1-0 to Wolfsburg, however, Lewandowski scored all 5 goals in the game which ended 5 – 1.

According to goal.com, Lewandowski was honoured for the following: quickest hat-trick, quickest four-goal haul, quickest five-goal haul and most goals by a substitute, cementing his display against Wolfsburg in history.

Lewandowski needed just eight minutes, 59 seconds to score five goals after coming off the bench in the second half of Bayern's 5-1 drubbing of Wolfsburg in Munich on September 22.

Speaking about it, he said: "It was an historic night for me. It took me a couple of days and weeks for it to sink in, my family were almost more excited than I was."

Lewandowski is planning to donate the football boots he used on the historic night to a charity.

Lewandowski claimed the record for the fastest hat-trick, which took him just 3 minutes 22 seconds, the fastest four goals (5 minutes 42 seconds), the quickest to five goals and is the first player in German league history to score five times off the bench.



The one record he failed to break was Dieter Mueller's 38-year-old record of six goals in a single match, which he scored for Cologne against Werder Bremen in a 7-2 victory.
