This is the shocking moment a street food vendor cuts off his own penis after a heated row on the telephone with his girlfriend.
According to Mirror Online, the incident involving the 21-year-old man, identified only by his initials of "HB", was captured on a grainy CCTV image shot in Yenisehir District in Mersin, a city on the Mediterranean coast of southern Turkey.
It shows the young man arguing on the phone before opening his trousers and appearing to cut off his manhood with a razor.

Although the footage is not clear, eyewitnesses told media that he slashed his penis with the razor until it was severed in the busy street in broad daylight.
A plain clothes police officer intervened to restrain him with the help of passers-by.
The man was then taken to the Mersin University Medical Faculty Hospital where surgeons managed to reattach the severed organ.
However they warned that it had been badly damaged and that it might not be possible to save it.
The man refused to discuss what he said to his girlfriend and why they had argued.
