62 year old Grandma was caught trying to smuggle drugs worth $12,230 in her veejay to her imprisoned son in the Edmonton Institution Canada.
On Monday a grandmother admitted in court that she tried to smuggle drugs to her son in a maximum- security prison by hiding them in her bra and veejay.
According to the National Post reports, the drugs on Linda Ethal Sheridan were detected by a sniffing dog upon entry while visiting her son with her 10-year old granddaughter.
Sheridan was escorted and searched in the ladies’ room. The authorities discovered the drugs concealed in condoms and cellophane wrappings.
They found three packages containing methamphetamine, heroin and marijuana as well as nicotine patches, cigarettes and hydromorphone, an opiate, in her bra.
“I wish I hadn’t been talked into this. It was a stupid move and I should’ve known better”, she told correctional officers.
Sheridan is facing up to four counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking and her incarcerated son has denied that he had asked her to bring him drugs in spite of her confession.
