The frilled shark was pulled from the water near Lakes Entrance, Victoria. It was up to two metres long and caught at 700 metres below sea level.
The origin of the shark dates back 80 million years and is eel-like in shape. The fish has 300 teeth over 25 rows, which allows it to swallow its prey whole
