Ever wondered how President Obama and Wife live when they’re abroad? Now’s your chance to take a look. When U.S. President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama land in Delhi on Sunday, local news reports say they will likely return to the ITC Maurya hotel where they stayed during their 2010 visit to the country.
All 440 rooms, including 29 suites, have been reserved for the presidential delegation, according to IBN Live, an Indian news channel. A spokeswoman for the hotel declined to comment on the reports.
The high-security hotel, which has a microbiology laboratory to test food samples, has accommodated several visiting heads of state, including U.S. presidents Bill Clinton in 2000 and George W Bush in 2006.
The suite has a private entrance and comes with its own security control room, butler and boardroom.
