It’s been something of a rough week for Chelsea striker Diego Costa.
Despite having been a revelation since joining Chelsea in the summer, with Costa having already scored a Premier League leading 17 goals this season, the striker has found his looks coming under the microscope this week.
Things kicked off during Chelsea’s Capital One Cup semifinal with Liverpool, as the Reds fans abused the Blues forward in song by calling him an “Elephant Man”.
That theme has since been developed on social media, with the perhaps the most noticeable face-off being the comparison of 26-year-old Costa with Chelsea physio Eva Carneiro, who is 41.
Perhaps someone needs to introduce Costa to moisturiser!
