Despite a few teething problems, Apple’s iOS 9 software update touched down this week.

And although all the headlines were about the better battery life and upgraded Siri – there are a few more features in iOS 9 that Apple didn’t tell us about.

Using your iPhone, you can now track when and how often you have sex.

It’s part of iOS 9’s health tracking capabilities and lurking inside the menus devoted to health data is an option for “Sexual Activity”.

You can list the date and time of your last encounter – as well as whether you used protection or not.

Selfie folder

One of the subtler changes in iOS 9 is the addition of a new selfie folder, which neatly collects all the pictures snapped with the front-facing camera.

The new iOS 9 also introduced a screenshots folder, which collects all images phone owners take of their screen.

This folder is also a potential mindfield, because the screenshot function is often used to store Snapchat sexts, which are meant to be temporary but can be stored using a simple button command.

Video zoom

Using the pinch-to-zoom feature isn’t just limited to pictures in iOS 9, you can use it on video clips as well.

Keyboard trackpad A new feautre in iOS 9 lets you turn your keyboard into a laptop-style trackpad just by adding another finger.

Pressing and holding two fingers on the screen anywhere on the keyboard means you can move through text much more quickly.

Useful if you’re typing out a long document and need to get to a certain point in a hurry.

Go Back
Android users have got used to having a back button, and now there’s one in iOS 9.

It’ll appear in the top-left corner of the screen when you’re in an app. Tapping it will take you back to the last screen.
