Jacob Gedleyihlekisa Zuma is the 4th President of South Africa. Born 12th April 1942. Zuma is not known to have any formal education after primary school grade 5, although some source argues that he didn’t have any form of Formal Education because of his poor background. . However he started politics at a young age following the path of a relative of his who was a union activist. He became South Africa’s president in may, 2009.
Omar Al-Bashir aged 71 became the 7th president of Sudan in June 1989. As one of the least educated african president, Al-Bashir is known to have completed his primary and secondary school education in Khartoum, SUDAN before joining the Sudanese Army at age 16. He’s the first sitting President to be indicted by the international Court of Justice for associated war crimes.
Yahya Abdul-Aziz Jemus Junkung JAMMEH is a 4time president of the Gambia. Born on 25th may, 1965. Yahya finished his secondary school in Banjul, Gambia before joining the military. He seized power in July, 1994 by a bloodless coup and has since been the leader of the Gambia.
Paul Kagame is the 6th and current president of Rwanda. Kagame was born in Rwanda, on October 23,1957.He is a tusti by tribe. Following the Rwandan Revolution in 1959,his family fled to Uganda. Were he completed his primary and secondary school education amidst his the death of his father. He was trained in Espionage by the Tanzania government. later joined the Ugandan army. He was a key force in the Rwanda civil war and Rwanda genocide. He was sworn in as president in April 2000. He’s been described as a very intelligent president.
ISMAIL OMAR GUELLEH was born in Ethiopia on 24th November, 1947 but migrated to Djibouti at age 16-18 after finishing his early school at an Islamic school. He completed his high school in Djibouti before joining the police in 1968. He later received training in the Somalian and French secret service. He replaced his uncle who ruled for 18 years as president in may 1999 and has since been president.
Mohamed Ould Abdel Aziz was born in Akjoujt on 20 December 1956. He is a career soldier, He joined the Royal Military Academy of Meknes, Morocco in 1977. He played a key role in suppressing an attempted coup in June 2003 and a military uprising in August 2004. He received Mauritania’s highest military award for his role in stopping the 2004 uprising.
Isaias Afewerki was born in 1946 in Asmara,Eritrea . He had high grades in his high school leaving certificate exams. But dropped out of the University to enroll in the military. He became president in April 1991
Abdelaziz Boulteflika is the 5th president of ALGERIA, he became president in April 1999 and has been reelected 4 times. Bouteflika was raised in Oujda, where his father had emigrated as a youngster.He successively attended three schools there: “Sidi Ziane”, “El Hoceinia” and the “Abdel Moumen” high-school, where he reportedly excelled academically. At age 19,he enlisted into the army. And later became president in 1999 in an election he contested as an independent candidate. He is number 10 on the least educated african presidents list.

Muhammadu Buhari is the incumbent president of Nigeria. He was born in 14th December, 1942 in Daura, Nigeria. He attended his primary and secondary school in Durban, Katsina before joining the army in 1961. He is a former military head of state and now a converted Democrat. His Academic qualifications was a major controversy prior to his Election as President.
