A scorned woman who claims she was ‘duped’ into marrying a billionaire with a secret wife has been told she must pay the tycoon £100,000 by</div>

<div dir="ltr" style="background-color: white; border: 0px; color: #555555; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; line-height: 20px; margin: 0px; padding: 0px; vertical-align: baseline;">
the divorce courts. Mercy Ogbedo, 45, thought her dreams had come true in 2002 when she went through a picturesque marriage ceremony with Nigerian shipping magnate Moses Taiga.<div style="border: 0px; margin-bottom: 20px; padding: 0px; vertical-align: baseline;">
</div>
<div style="border: 0px; margin-bottom: 20px; padding: 0px; vertical-align: baseline;">
Her feet were washed by village elders and a ‘bride price’ was paid for her, before the couple drank from the same cup, danced and cut an exotic wedding cake. But Mrs Ogbedo, from Finchley, north London, who has two children by Mr Taiga, a billionaire who owns a string of London properties, says she discovered later that her husband already had a wife from 1974.</div>
</div>
<div dir="ltr" style="background-color: white; border: 0px; color: #555555; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; line-height: 20px; margin: 0px; padding: 0px; vertical-align: baseline;">
</div>
<div dir="ltr" style="background-color: white; border: 0px; color: #555555; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; line-height: 20px; margin: 0px; padding: 0px; vertical-align: baseline;">
For more than a decade she has been petitioning the British divorce courts for financial support from Mr Taiga’s nine-figure fortune. But last year a divorce judge ruled that despite the mother of two being ‘of limited means’, she could not be awarded a maintenance from Mr Taiga because he had their marriage voided in Nigeria. Instead she was ordered to pay £100,000 towards his legal bills.<div style="border: 0px; margin-bottom: 20px; padding: 0px; vertical-align: baseline;">
</div>
<div style="border: 0px; margin-bottom: 20px; padding: 0px; vertical-align: baseline;">
Challenging that ruling, her barrister, Timothy Scott QC, said the former couple’s lavish 2002 ceremony had ‘duped’ her into thinking she was a lawfully wedded wife. The barrister told Appeal Court judge Lord Justice McFarlane that soon after her ‘wedding’ she discovered that 28 years previously Mr Taiga had married another woman in church in Benin.</div>
<div style="border: 0px; margin-bottom: 20px; padding: 0px; vertical-align: baseline;">
‘In March 2002 Mrs Ogbedo and Mr Taiga entered into a customary marriage in Nigeria, which would have been valid but for the husband’s prior marriage. The wife says she was duped,’ the QC said.</div>
<div style="border: 0px; margin-bottom: 20px; padding: 0px; vertical-align: baseline;">

The following day, I didn’t think much of it when I scratched off the first set of numbers. But when I finished scratching the second ticket, I began to shake and sweat out of nervousness. I just couldn’t believe it was real.”</blockquote>

A
 man in India has been arrested for having consensual gay sex after his
wife installed miniature video cameras in every room of their home and
filmed his encounters.<br /><br />Bangalore police arrested the man under
Section 377 of the Indian Penal Code – a 153-year-old law dating back to
 British colonial days prohibiting sodomy, consensual or otherwise. It
makes it an offense to commit 'carnal intercourse against the order of
nature.'<br /><br />The clause, which had been deemed unconstitutional by
the High Court but was subsequently re-instated by the Supreme Court
last December, makes gay sex punishable with life imprisonment.<br /><br />The man's wife lodged a complaint against him on October 20, as well as her in-laws, for cheating her.<br /><br /><a class="mce-item-anchor" href="https://www.blogger.com/null" name="more"></a>'My in-laws knew that their son was gay. There was no need for them to ruin my life by arranging this marriage,' she contended.<br /><br />According to a complaint filed by the unnamed woman, a medical doctor from Bangalore, she married the man in November 2013.<br /><br />The
 accused, who was born and brought up in the United Arab Emirates, had
relocated to India after completing his education. It was an arranged
marriage.<br /><br />Within a few days of the marriage, the husband started
working at IT firm Infosys' Mysore campus. The couple stayed apart for
almost six months after the wedding.<br /><br /><br /><br />The wife, 31, who
was staying alone in Bangalore, insisted her husband seek a transfer to
the area. According to the police, after coming under pressure from the
two families, the accused complied.<br /><br />The couple rented a house in
Malleshwaram. The wife, in her complaint to the police, alleged her
husband avoided any kind of physical contact with her. He insisted that
they sleep in separate rooms and he avoided any discussion about sex.<br /><br />The
 wife assumed it to be a compatibility issue. However, as the days
passed, the accused avoided her by leaving home early for the office and
 returning late at night. But on days when his wife returned home late,
the accused would get home early.<br /><br />The IT engineer would use lip
gloss and reportedly preferred feminine fashion accessories. This
aroused the wife's suspicion and she confronted him about it.<br /><br />The
 police said the wife even discussed visiting a marriage counsellor with
 her husband to sort out the issue, but he did not entertain it.
Suspecting he might be suffering from an inferiority complex because of
impotence, she even suggested taking him to the doctor. But the accused
dodged all questions from his wife.<br /><br />The wife then approached her
in-laws, seeking intervention. More shock was in store when her in-laws
blamed her for the situation. According to her, they claimed their son
was 'perfect' and that she had failed in 'attracting' him.<br />
<div>
<br />Not
 willing to disclose the sensitive issue to her parents, the doctor
decided to probe the matter on her own. She inquired with her neighbors
and found out her husband had male guests when she was not at home.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<br /><br />When
 she questioned him, he told her the male visitors were his business
associates. However, she was not convinced by his explanation.</div>
<div>
<br />She installed miniature video cameras in every room of their home. Later, she left for her hometown for the week.<br /><br />After
 she returned to Bangalore, the woman was shocked by the video footage
captured by the cameras. She found that her husband had sexual
encounters with various men.</div>
<div>
<br />She approached the police the same day with the evidence.</div>
